The Royal African Society is seeking enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to join the team behind
Film Africa 2025, taking place 14–23 November at venues across London.
This is your chance to be part of the UK’s leading celebration of African cinema – and gain valuable
experience behind the scenes of a major arts festival!
Volunteer Roles May Include:
Guest management and hospitality
Front-of-house (ushering, ticket scanning, attendee registration)
Distributing flyers, festival guides, surveys
Serving refreshments at receptions
Venue setup and teardown/logistical support
Availability:
Volunteers will be scheduled in shifts during the festival. Full training and a festival t-shirt will be
provided. Travel expenses can be reimbursed (within London zones 1–4).
