Is it possible to be African, Christian and gay? The first LGBT church in Nairobi Kenya definitely believe so. The Cosmopolitan Affirming Community, known affectionately as CAC, seeks to promote an inclusive and progressive form of Christianity, in a rather conservative society.
There will also be a screening of Peter Murimi’s I Am Samuel as part of this double bill.

Aiwan Obinyan is a Nigerian-British, Filmmaker and Composer, residing in London. She works in the film, theatre and music industry as a musician, audio engineer, composer and filmmaker. Her work has featured on national and international Television and Stage productions with clients including gal-dem, Young Vic Theatre, Adidas, ITV, Channel 4 and Yorkshire Sound Women Network.
